Information We Collect
To provide optimal attendance recording and HR administration services, We collect several types of information:
Employee Profile Data
Full name, Employee ID Number (NIK), email address, position/job title, and other work-related information registered by your Company/HRD.
Biometric Data (Face Recognition)
When you clock in or clock out, our system scans your face.
Important Note: We do not store raw photos or original images of your face in our database. Your face is automatically converted into a unique face code (encrypted digital pattern) solely for verification purposes.
Location Data (Geolocation/GPS)
We collect your coordinate points (Latitude & Longitude) in real time only when you press the attendance button, to validate your presence within the office radius (Geofencing) set by the Company.
Device Data & System Logs
Information related to the hardware you use (such as Device ID or smartphone type) to prevent the use of third-party apps (such as Fake GPS or Emulators) in order to maintain data validity.
How We Use Your Information
The information collected is used only for your company's operational purposes, which include:
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.
Your data will only be shared with:
Your Company/HRD
Administrators or HRD staff at the company where you work have full access to your attendance logs, attendance locations, and payroll reports.
Legal Compliance
We may disclose information if required by applicable law, judicial proceedings, or official requests from authorized government authorities in the Republic of Indonesia.
Absyen Community (absyen.org)
If you use the Single Sign-On (SSO) feature to access the Absyen Community at absyen.org, certain profile data — including name, email address, profile photo, company name, and position — is shared with that community platform. Both services are operated by the same entity and use connected authentication systems (Firebase), but the community database is separate from the attendance database. Data use in the community is governed by the absyen.org Privacy Policy.
Data Security and Storage

Biometric data (unique face codes) and passwords are encrypted using hashing.
Secure Cloud Servers
Data is stored on cloud-based servers protected from unauthorized access.
